From Basquiat to Banksy: Street Art at Christie’s

News from the art market! 

A few days ago, the exhibition “Off the Wall: Basquiat to Banksy” in Christie’s London galleries ended.

Are you curious about an exhibition in an auction house? ? Christie’s organised a private sale entirely dedicated to Street Art! Thanks to the exhibition collectors and enthusiasts had the opportunity to admire the works live ? 

The fact that such important auction houses organise sales specialising in Street Art is another sign of the market importance that the movement has reached!

SPACE INVADER: artworks

Christie’s exhibited three works by Space Invader, including an Alias, a copy of a mosaic installed in Hoxton Square during the 1999 invasion of London. The artist then made this same character with his Rubik’s cubes!  

BLEK LE RAT: artworks

Blek Le Rat, stencil art’s father, also has three silkscreens on show!
