Today we want to talk to you about an incredible mural created by street artist Agostino Iacurci🤩
Originally from Foggia, Agostino Iacurci is now one of the most prominent names in Street Art, boasting works all over the world, from India to Brazil, from Mexico to Puerto Rico.
The lucky children of the “Pascucci Elementary School” in Santarcangelo di Romagna, in the province of Rimini, can say they are happy to go to school every day: on the walls of the building Agostino Iacurci has created the work “Disegno d’Esame“.
The work is based on a drawing made in 1964 by one of the school children, later included in the book “Arte per Gioco“, published by Moroni. In the book, the drawing is described as: “the representation of wild plants living on the edge of rural vegetation […] which Pietro relied on for protection on the day of his exam“.
The method used by the school has always been to encourage free expression in the children, mainly through drawing and observing nature.
