“SPACE Tor Pignattara: contemporary creative spaces, urban regeneration and participation” comes from a format created by Melting Pro and is a project created by the Wunderkammern Cultural Association in collaboration with Melting Pro and Ecomuseo Casilino Ad Duas Lauros, winners of the “Prendi parte” call ! Acting and creative thinking “created by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Peripheries (DGAAP) of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities to promote the cultural inclusion of young people in areas characterized by situations of economic and social marginality. The underlying theme of the project is the creation of a Street Art Atelier aimed at young creative people under 30, aimed at the production of works that draw inspiration from the territory and are designed to enhance it. After a first phase of territorial immersion and a subsequent phase of artistic ideation, the creative atelier will conclude with the production of a masonry work carried out by the young people involved in collaboration with the internationally renowned Italian street artist, Tellas. The young people will be invited to reflect on the concept of fragility in relation to urban art, the suburbs and more generally to contemporary society. They will be stimulated in the search for solutions through the artistic language by living an engaging experience, which will help them express their potential and improve creative skills. The project will be traversed by an audience development strategy aimed at engaging local communities and encouraging wider participation in the neighborhood’s creative regeneration process.
