Edoardo Tresoldi (Milan, 1987) is an Italian set designer, sculptor and artist

He is especially known for his meshed metal installations, which take shape as site-specific transparent sculptures that are perfectly integrated in the surroundings. The artist starts with the dynamics of the space, then develops a story or a character and concretizes them through the creation of the sculpture. 

Most important exhibitions and collaborations

Edoardo Tresoldi has participated in festivals, art projects, gallery and museum exhibitions world-wide such as Cargo 39, Singapore (2018), Archetipo, Abu Dhabi (2017), Islamic Arts Festival in Sharjah, Emirates (2016), Biennale d’Arte Contemporanea Italia-Cina in Turin, Italy (2015), Oltre il Muro Festival di Arte Urbana in Sapri, Italy (2014), SANfest, in Córcoles(Madrid), Spain (2014) and Mura Mura Festival, Pizzo Calabro, Italy (2013). 
In 2016 he carried out, together with the Italian Ministry of Culture, the restoration of the Basilica paleocristiana of Siponto, a unique convergence between contemporary art and archaeology. The Basilica has been awarded the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture 2018 – Special Prize to Commission, the most prestigious Italian architecture award established by the Triennale di Milano
In 2017 he has been included by Forbes among the 30 most influential European artists under 30. In April 2018 he created ‘Etherea’ for Coachella Music and Arts Festival, one of the world’s most anticipated music events. It is his biggest artwork to date and also the largest of the California festival. Since creating ‘Etherea’, the artist and his founded studios (Tresoldi Studio and Studio Studio Studio) have recently produced more permanent public interventions globally: ‘Fillmore’ at the Cathédrale restaurant in New York (2019), ‘Gharfa’ in Riyadh (SAU 2019) and ‘Simbiosi’ for the Arte Sella, Borgo Valsugana, Italy.
